CED receives 120K grant, ICT team presenters at Intel Teach National Preservice Conference

MSU-IIT, College of Education receives PhP 120,00 grant from Intel Philippines under Intel Education Program during the first Intel Teach Preservice Conference last February 12, 2009 in Bohol. This was awarded in appreciation for the college's engagement in fostering an enabling environment for the Intel Teach Community of Learning in the region. This amount is to be spent for capacity building initiatives of the college according to CED dean Lydie D. Paderanga, Ph.D.

Within any such country, there may be an uneven development from region to region, area to area and even from institution to institution. The Asia and the Pacific Region has a wide range of ICT development stages in education. ICTs applied in education offer huge potential to stimulate and realize the human capital inherent in the number of people in the Asia Pacific region.
